Description

Maroon 5 est un groupe de rock originaire de Los Angeles qui fut récompensé à de nombreuses reprises pour son premier album Songs about Jane. Sorti dans les bacs en juin 2002, Songs about Jane s'est retrouvé en tête des charts, devenant triple disque de platine dans de nombreux pays. De même, leur second album, 1.22.03.Acoustic, qui reprend des titres live, en version acoustique, de l'album Songs about Jane, a été sacré disque de platine.
Maroon 5 est en permanence en tournée depuis la formation du groupe en 1997, se produisant aux côtés de John Mayer, Michelle Branch, Gavin DeGraw, Phantom Planet, The Like, Jason Mraz, The Thrills ou encore The Donnas. Ils ont joué en première partie des Rolling Stones en août 2005.
Maroon 5 est aussi connu pour ses interventions contre le réchauffement climatique et pour une avancée plus rapide de l'aide à l'environnement
